Roles and Responsibilities
As an Automation Tester – Selenium, your primary responsibilities will include:
Automation Testing:
- Execute and design automated test frameworks (such as Data-driven, Keyword-driven, or Hybrid models) using Selenium to ensure the quality of enterprise software applications.
Test Framework Design & Implementation:
- Design, implement, and manage test automation frameworks. Ensure the test strategies align with the overall goals and improve the testing process.
QA Methodology:
- Strong understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) methodology, processes, and best practices for automating software testing. You will work to streamline test automation, ensuring higher accuracy and efficiency.
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Awareness:
- Use OOP concepts such as Classes, Methods, and Inheritance to design robust and efficient test cases.
Collaborative Teamwork:
- Collaborate with development and testing teams to execute end-to-end automation tests, ensuring high product quality and reliability.
Communication and Reporting:
- Use strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, providing timely updates and reports on testing progress.
Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking:
- Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve test failures and ensure all issues are thoroughly investigated.
Custom Reporting:
- Create custom reports to document test results, logs, and defects, contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel as an Automation Tester – Selenium at Mspringinfotech, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
- BE/B.Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1 to 7 years of experience in Automation Testing, particularly in testing enterprise software applications.
- Strong proficiency in Selenium and testing tools like Selenium Grid.
- Expertise in designing and implementing various automation test frameworks (Data-driven, Keyword-driven, Hybrid).
- Hands-on experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and coding for automation purposes.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python) to write automated test cases.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Good understanding of QA processes, software development life cycles (SDLC), and Agile methodologies.
