Job Role: Catalog Assistant

The Catalog Assistant will be responsible for auditing product data in Amazon’s extensive catalog, ensuring that all product listings meet predefined guidelines and maintaining data accuracy. In this role, you will approve or reject catalog entries based on specific standards and ensure a seamless customer experience on Amazon’s platform.

Experience Level: 0 – 2 years (Freshers welcome!)


Key Responsibilities

  • Data Auditing: Review Amazon's catalog to ensure data accuracy and completeness, following strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Decision Making: Approve or disapprove catalog entries based on predefined guidelines, ensuring logical and accurate decisions.
  • Content Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks on product details, including descriptions, images, and specifications, to ensure high standards of accuracy and completeness.
  • Trend Identification: Analyze data to spot trends and patterns that could inform future product listings and streamline processes.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with project teams to create new SOPs, provide feedback to optimize existing processes, and contribute to consistent, high-quality outcomes.
  • Communication: Report audit results and collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate findings effectively and provide feedback for improvements.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is required.
  • Experience: This role is open to candidates with 0 to 2 years of experience, making it an excellent opportunity for freshers or professionals seeking to gain valuable industry experience.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is essential.
