Role & Responsibilities

As a Salesforce Developer at Harmonic, your key responsibilities will include:

• Salesforce Customization and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop customized Salesforce solutions that enhance operational efficiency and user experience.

• Testing and Quality Assurance: Test multidisciplinary embedded systems (SW/HW) and ensure features undergo comprehensive end-to-end functional testing. You will be responsible for executing tests to verify functional behavior and product quality in an Agile environment.

• Collaboration: Work closely with Device Under Test (DUT) development and QA engineers to facilitate seamless integration and testing processes.

• Documentation: Write clear test plans and test cases, documenting all testing processes to ensure traceability and accountability.

• Agile Methodology: Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to enhance team collaboration and project outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Educational Background: B.Tech/BE in Electronics and Communication or Computer Science.

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, with hands-on experience in system testing, particularly with PON products (R-OLT’s or ONU’s) in ITU or IEEE PON technology.

• Technical Expertise:

  • Strong experience in testing GPON/XGS-ON/GPON-XGS combo modes is a significant advantage.
  • Proficiency in writing clear test plans and executing test cases.
  • Knowledge of Layer 3 networking protocols.
  • Familiarity with Linux is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of scripting tools/languages such as Perl, Python, or Bash is advantageous.

• Interpersonal Skills: A high level of interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across different teams.

• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
