Responsibilities & Skills

As a Python Full Stack Developer at Sopra Steria, you will be responsible for:

  • Programming Excellence: Develop and maintain high-quality applications using Python, showcasing your strong programming skills.
  • Backend Frameworks: Utilize frameworks like Django and Flask to create robust backend services.
  • Database Management: Demonstrate expertise in PostgreSQL and database concepts such as normalization, sharding, indexing, and query optimization.
  • Unit Testing: Write unit test cases to ensure code reliability and performance.
  • Frontend Technologies: Collaborate on projects using Angular, React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Version Control: Implement Git for version control and collaboration.
  • Data Science: Apply data science libraries such as Pandas and NumPy to enhance functionality.
  • ETL Processes: Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and data cleaning techniques is a plus.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Familiarity with Jenkins, AWS, Docker, and CI/CD practices will be beneficial.
  • Optimization Techniques: Apply various optimization strategies across the frontend, backend, and database layers.
  • Agile Methodologies: Work within Agile/SAFe project frameworks to drive project success.
  • Problem Solving: Utilize strong organizational and debugging skills to tackle complex challenges.
