Job Role: Backend Software Developer
As a Backend Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing and building efficient, scalable backend systems that power our web applications. You’ll work with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements, ensuring seamless interaction between client and server. This is a role that requires strong foundational knowledge of web development principles, relational databases, and programming best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Code Development: Write reusable, testable, and efficient code following best practices and design patterns to maintain a scalable and maintainable codebase.
- Database Management: Design and implement database schemas that align with and support business processes, ensuring data integrity and optimization.
- Application Development: Build low-latency, high-availability applications that can handle heavy traffic while maintaining performance and reliability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers to integrate server-side logic with user-facing elements.
- Code Quality Assurance: Write and maintain comprehensive unit tests to ensure high-quality, error-free code and efficient debugging processes.
- Web Development Standards: Follow web development principles, including HTTP, REST, and related protocols to create seamless server-client interactions.
- Security: Implement user authentication and authorization for multiple systems, servers, and environments to ensure security.
