Key Responsibilities

As a Cloud Data Engineer, you will:

• Design and Develop: Build and optimize ETL pipelines and integrate them with cloud-native data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Oracle ADW. You'll also manage integration with relational or NoSQL databases.
• Ensure Data Integrity: Follow best practices and standards for scalability, data quality, and reusability, ensuring every solution you work on meets the highest standards.
• Troubleshoot: Solve production issues across various data platform services, ensuring smooth and continuous operation.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with business analysts, product teams, and data scientists to improve the accuracy and efficiency of data sets for analysis and reporting.
• Automate Processes: Automation is key! Your goal will be to streamline manual processes by introducing automation wherever possible.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Write test cases, perform quality assurance, and take part in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with stakeholders to ensure the solutions meet business needs.

Skills Required

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Data Science.
• Strong understanding and experience in building event-driven or batch-processed ETL data pipelines.
• Familiarity with Enterprise data migration and multi-source data ingestion techniques.
• Proficiency in Python and writing complex SQL procedures.
• Knowledge of distributed data warehouses architecture and processing is a bonus.
