Roles and Responsibilities

  1. PII Processing Validation (PPV):

    • Support the end-to-end PPV process for the company’s technology applications and vendors.
    • Lead and coordinate PPV discussions with stakeholders, ensuring that the processing cases and findings are tracked properly.
    • Validate the accuracy of PII (Personally Identifiable Information) processing declarations submitted by system/service owners in the firm’s systems of record.
  2. Privacy Incident Management:

    • Review, analyse, and accurately tag privacy incidents that affect U.S. Bank clients.
    • Ensure that incidents recorded in the firm’s system of record are tagged correctly when client impact is confirmed.
    • Work towards minimizing data loss incidents and ensuring compliance with privacy protocols.
  3. Reporting and Analysis:

    • Conduct impactful audits, reviews, and gap assessments to evaluate processes and identify areas for improvement.
    • Generate and maintain reports based on findings from privacy incidents and PPV processes.
    • Use data analysis to support conclusions and offer recommendations for process enhancements.
  4. Stakeholder Communication:

    • Engage with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the PPV process.
    • Communicate complex topics effectively and positively, ensuring all parties understand findings, processes, and recommendations.
