Job Description:
As a UX Designer I at Zeta, you will collaborate with senior designers and cross-functional teams to create seamless and delightful user experiences. You will be involved in the full design lifecycle, from ideation to execution, ensuring that every product not only looks good but also feels intuitive to users. Roles and Responsibilities:
Collaborative Design Development:
- Work closely with senior designers to create innovative interaction designs from initial concept through to shipping. You'll help transform complex problems into simple, user-friendly solutions that resonate with Zeta's audience.
Crafting Delightful Experiences:
- Blend the brand’s personality, visual aesthetics, motion, and sound to create delightful user experiences. You’ll solve intricate design challenges, ensuring seamless interaction between users and products.
User-Centered Solutions:
- Leverage user research data and user goals to evaluate and improve design solutions. Your work will directly influence how users interact with and experience Zeta’s offerings.
Design Visualization:
- Produce various design assets such as storyboards, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and vision pieces. These visualizations will help align cross-functional teams on what the final experience should look like.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Engage with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to iterate on designs and ensure flawless delivery. Your ability to communicate and advocate for your design solutions will be critical.
Self-Directed Contribution:
- While working in a collaborative environment, you’ll also be expected to take ownership of tasks, demonstrating the ability to self-manage and be proactive in delivering solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
0-2 Years of Interaction Design Experience:
- Freshers or early-career professionals with up to 2 years of experience in interaction design or UX are encouraged to apply.
Proficiency in Design Tools:
- Hands-on experience with Figma (preferred), or Sketch/XD. Familiarity with design tools such as Principle, Framer, Webflow, or Adobe Suite is a plus.
Understanding of User Interaction:
- Ability to recognize and predict user interaction patterns, including both ideal ("happy path") and edge cases. You should know how to incorporate these scenarios into your designs.
Knowledge of Information Design & User Psychology:
- A solid understanding of how users think and interact with products, and how to structure information to guide their experience effectively.
Prototyping and Front-End Experience:
- Experience in creating prototypes or front-end development is a big plus. You’ll be able to bring your designs to life in a more interactive form.
Strong Communication Skills:
- You should be capable of clearly articulating design ideas and presenting your work to cross-functional teams. Good UX copywriting skills are also beneficial.
