Job Role: Associate Software Engineer (.Net)

As an Associate Software Engineer at United Airlines, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications using the latest technologies, focusing on the .Net framework. You will work alongside experienced engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to design, develop, test, and deploy robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions.

Salary: ₹6 LPA – ₹9 LPA
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, document design specifications, and work with stakeholders to develop tailored software solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, modular, and robust code using C# and the .Net framework to create new applications or enhance existing ones.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and clients, to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and document new computer applications while ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Debug existing code to identify and eliminate errors, improving overall application performance and user experience.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of code quality.
• Work on backend technologies like Java, SQL, and database management systems to build scalable and efficient solutions.
• Use scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and configuration management tools to automate development processes.
• Analyze data using SQL and provide data-driven insights to improve software applications.
• Stay up to date with the latest software development methodologies and tools, including GitHub for version control and collaboration.

Skill Set Requirements

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and knowledge:

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in C# and .Net, with familiarity in Python, Java, C++, and JavaScript.
• Scripting and Configuration: Experience with scripting languages like Python and Bash, and knowledge of configuration management tools.
• Backend Development: Strong understanding of backend technologies such as Java, SQL, databases, and data structures, with expertise in algorithms.
• Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Understanding of the complete software development lifecycle, from design and development to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Data Analysis: Familiarity with SQL, data analysis, and version control tools like GitHub.
• Debugging Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug code and identify errors efficiently.
• Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration within cross-functional teams.
• Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented, with the ability to document and review code, ensuring adherence to best practices.

• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or any related discipline.
