Position Overview

Genpact is hiring freshers and experienced professionals for the role of Software Consultant - Full Stack Engineer. Eligibility: BE/BTech/MCA graduates, freshers, and experienced professionals
Experience Level: Open to fresh graduates and those with relevant experience

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Backend Development:

  • Proficiency in Java and Advanced Java, with experience in frameworks like Spring Boot and Spring Data.
  • Experience with microservices architecture to enhance scalability and modularity.
  • Familiarity with SQL for database design and management.
  • Strong expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks such as ReactJS and Angular (preferably Angular 8+).
  • Understanding of UI/UX design principles and responsive web design using HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Knowledge of Scala or Soy templates is a plus.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Junit and Cucumber for debugging and quality assurance.
  • Ability to write, execute, and troubleshoot test cases to ensure code robustness.
  • Familiarity with Jenkins for CI/CD automation.
  • Proficiency in Unix shell scripting to streamline deployments and automate processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive approach with a strong ability to multitask and prioritize.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Full Stack Engineer at Genpact, you will play a key role in the development of dynamic, scalable applications that drive innovation. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Backend Framework Development: Build and maintain back-end architecture using Spring Boot and Spring Data. Design and manage SQL databases to support application functionalities and optimize performance.

2. Frontend Development:

   • Develop front-end architecture using Angular 8+ for a seamless user experience.
   • Design intuitive, responsive layouts with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to create visually appealing interfaces.
   • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand and implement new features.
   • Participate in agile processes, daily stand-ups, and code reviews to improve functionality and optimize application performance.
   • Stay updated on the latest advancements in Full Stack development, tools, and frameworks.
   • Actively seek ways to improve processes, enhance code efficiency, and implement best practices to keep the codebase robust.

3. Testing and Quality Assurance: Use Junit and Cucumber to test code and ensure bug-free, high-quality features before release. This includes debugging, troubleshooting, and continual quality monitoring.

4. DevOps Automation: Automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Unix shell scripting, enabling faster and more efficient deployments while ensuring code consistency and integrity across all development environments.
