• Data Management: Experience or knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and Cassandra.

Job Description and Key Responsibilities

As an Associate Software Development Engineer at NTT DATA, you’ll be responsible for contributing to the design, development, and testing of software systems and applications, especially focusing on cloud-based or internet-related tools. Here’s what you’ll be doing in this role:

1. Design and Development

   • Receive direction from senior team members to design and develop software solutions that drive business growth and customer success.
   • Contribute to developing functionality within a microservices environment, working with APIs, telemetry data, and ML/AI algorithms.
   • Develop and refine code that interfaces with both structured and unstructured data, ensuring high-quality and efficient data integration.
   • Write and test code under the guidance of experienced team members, contributing to the development of new software modules or enhancements to existing ones.
   • Participate in automated testing to ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability.
   • Assist with code refactoring, optimization, and debugging as necessary.
   • Work closely with product teams, taking feedback and direction to ensure that the software meets business requirements.
   • Support product integration and deployments, leveraging third-party software tools to enhance the software’s capabilities.
   • Participate in team discussions, code reviews, and technical meetings, contributing insights and learning from team members.
   • Assist in creating and updating technical program documentation, user manuals, and operational procedures.
   • Help maintain and update internal documentation, ensuring that software processes, workflows, and deployment instructions are clear and accurate.
