About the Role:
As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll be an integral part of Ericsson's technical ecosystem. You’ll leverage modern tools and methods to automate processes, enhance delivery efficiency, and ensure performance excellence. Your focus will be on utilizing cloud-native technologies to build Ericsson’s 5G products on a container-based microservice architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Tools and Automation: Create cutting-edge automation tools to improve build, test, and delivery efficiency.
- Cloud-Native Development: Use tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible to enhance scalability and reliability.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor infrastructure, hosts, and applications using tools like Zabbix, Dynatrace, and Nagstamon. Act proactively to resolve issues before they affect operations.
- End-to-End Product Development: Be involved in analyzing requirements, specifying functionality, verifying software, and supporting tool users to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify bottlenecks, suggest innovative solutions, and implement process enhancements.
- Dynamic Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of Ericsson's innovative solutions.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Ensure solutions are delivered professionally to achieve customer satisfaction and maintain profitability for Ericsson.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience- Open to Freshers and professionals with relevant experience.
Required Skills

Programming
- Proficient in Java and Python.
- Expertise in Bash scripting.
DevOps Expertise
- Knowledge of tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab, and Artifactory.
- Experience with Configuration Management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Strong understanding of Cloud Technologies such as AWS and Azure.
Infrastructure & Monitoring
- Proficiency in monitoring tools like Zabbix, Dynatrace, and Nagstamon to track application and infrastructure performance.
Soft Skills
- Problem-Solving: An aptitude for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical challenges.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with teams globally.
- Adaptability: Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
