Key Responsibilities
As a Software NAC Engineer at NTT DATA, your role will focus on ensuring network security, access control, and compliance. Here's what you'll be doing:
Network Access and Security Management
- Review monitoring alerts for availability and performance.
- Analyse logs and alerts to identify security incidents, policy violations, or network anomalies.
- Respond promptly to network-related incidents to ensure security and minimize risks.
Policy Implementation and Maintenance
- Implement and maintain access control policies aligned with organizational requirements.
- Refine authentication methods and authorization rules as needed.
- Update endpoint posture assessment criteria to stay ahead of threats.
Incident Response and Mitigation
- Address non-compliant devices and unauthorized access issues.
- Take corrective actions to mitigate risks, including isolating devices or blocking access.
Technical Support and Collaboration
- Provide guidance to end-users, IT staff, and system administrators on NAC-related issues.
- Work with vendors and third-party providers to manage security infrastructure effectively.
Process Adherence
- Follow change management processes diligently.
- Ensure seamless resource replacement in the absence of onsite personnel.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is mandatory.
Certifications
- CCNA Certification is a must.
- Additional certifications such as CCNP in Security or PCNSE are highly desirable.
Required Skills and Expertise
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE, ORM Frameworks, and Spring Framework.
- Strong understanding of Web Services and JSON.
- In-depth knowledge of Network Access Control (NAC), including FW, VPN, and NAC systems.
- Familiarity with Cloud Development and Networking.
Operational Skills
- Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow.
- Working knowledge of ITIL processes.
- Moderate-level experience managing security infrastructure and collaborating with third parties.
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
- A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks.
