Job Role: Software Engineer in Test – C# & .Net, Manual Testing
Visa is seeking a passionate and skilled Software Engineer in Test to join our talented engineering team. You will be responsible for testing and ensuring the quality of Visa’s payment technology and software solutions. This role is perfect for freshers who have a solid understanding of C#, .Net, and manual testing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using C# and .Net technologies.
Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
Perform manual testing on new software releases to identify defects, inconsistencies, and bugs.
Utilize test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks to streamline the testing process.
Create and maintain detailed test cases to verify the application functionality, usability, and security.
Work closely with developers and QA engineers to identify and resolve defects.
Participate in Agile development processes, including sprints and stand-ups.
Document and track bugs, defects, and issues using bug tracking tools.
Contribute to the overall test strategy by suggesting improvements to testing processes and methodologies.

Eligibility
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Skills Required

Proficiency in manual testing methodologies.
Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, Appium, or similar.
Knowledge of databases, SQL queries, and data validation.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, etc.).
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with REST API testing and automation frameworks.
Exposure to cloud-based environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter is a plus.
Knowledge of security testing fundamentals is an advantage.
